10 Fun Table Topic Starters!

My family is in NYC this week! Since we didn’t celebrate Christmas growing up, Thanksgiving was our holiday. It simply represented the time where we all had time off and spent time together. My recent favorite Thanksgiving was when we flew to Vancouver Island to visit my Bareabba (1 of my dad’s 13 siblings) and Badeamma. My mom cooked Indian food, we were all together and we discussed family history for hours.

But this Thanksgiving, we are hosting in Brooklyn (in a rented apartment to fit both my side of the family and Andres’ side) and we decided to order-in (GASP!) from Brooklyn Fare. I’m totally nervous because we have never done this before and we have really good cooks in my family.

So I thought of some fun ways to liven up the dinner table in the event of a food catastrophe. I was looking around for table topic starters that were funny, interesting, family-friendly and would balance the cliched, “What are you most thankful for?” Here they are . . .
